The Russell Scarborough Trio

A Leading force in Norfolk based jazz since the seventies,
Thia current trio became a reality in 2011 when restaurateur
Jeff Brown offered Russell a regular Sunday brunch gig. Consisting
of guitarist Eldon Sully and bassist Dave Hufstedler, they played at
Cotton Southern Bistro for FIVE YEARS.
During that period the trio included:
Guitarists: Aaron Weibe, Jason Cale,Tony Mata
Bassists: J.R.Erb, Wes Smith, Ryan PersaudThe current trio: Eldon or Jake Stith on guitar
Dave or Chris Brydge on bass
can become a quartet with Ken Keller trombone.
They look forward to playing their unique song list at venues all over Hampton Roads.
